Programs Manager (Commissioning)
GCPHN has an exciting opportunity for a Programs Manager (Commissioning) to join their team on the Gold Coast. This role is being offered on a full-time contract basis until 30 June 2019 (with possible extension).
As the Programs Manager, your ultimate responsibility will be to provide leadership that facilitates the commissioning of primary health care services to agreed standards, on time and within budget.
Reporting to the Director of Commissioning, your day-to-day duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Providing leadership, coaching and a clear sense of strategic and operational direction to a Program team including Program Coordinators, Senior Project Officers, Project Officers and Project Support Officers;
- Providing strategic and operational leadership in commissioning including needs assessment, strategic planning, service design and contracting and managing performance and evaluation;
- Working within quality frameworks to plan, procure, negotiate, implement and evaluate approved projects/programs/services to agreed standards, within budget and with regular reporting and review; and
- Providing strategic leadership that supports and achieves key GCPHN strategic goals.
To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated ability to plan and provide strategic leadership in commissioning both within a multi-disciplinary team and more broadly across a complex human service delivery environment.
You will have highly developed project management skills in order to plan, lead and manage complex projects simultaneously in a health setting, to a high standard, on time and within budget. In addition, you will have the demonstrated ability to build effective and productive working relationships with team members, clients, stakeholders and other industry partners to achieve quality outcomes.
