Program Lives Lived well
Services Lives Lived Well is one of Queensland’s biggest non-government support organisations for people who have problems with alcohol and other drugs. They also support people with mental health problems associated with drug and alcohol misuse.
 
The PHN funded program works with a person to determine what kind of support is best for them. Information, education, case management, short and long term counselling is available for people wanting to reduce the harm from their substance use through outreach in the Northern Gold Coast area, a hub in Nerang and at the Burleigh Waters Lives Lived Well service.
 
Support can also be provided for people who are family members, friends or carers of those experiencing substance use issues.
 
They also offer a wide range of programs including residential rehabilitation through Mirikai.
Eligibility Criteria
  • Can be of any age to access the service.
  • Live in the Gold Coast region  
  • Require support for drug and/or alcohol use and consent support
Access to Service

People can self-refer by calling the service, or dropping into the Hub at Nerang.

Health professionals including GPs, community organisations and mental health services can refer into the service.

Program QuIHN
Services QuIHN is a statewide service that supports and promotes the health and wellbeing of people who currently use or have used alcohol or other drugs, and members of the community touched or affected by illicit drug use.
 
The primary focus of QuIHN Therapeutic Services is to empower individuals to establish control over their lives through emphasising individual values, person decision-making and goal setting.
 
Support is provided through outreach in the Northern Gold Coast area and services are tailored to meet individual needs such drug use and mental health concerns, relapse prevention and management, and case management and long term counselling

  • Live in the Gold Coast region  
  • Require support for drug and/or alcohol use and consent support
