Are you a practice nurse looking for a free CPD opportunity and want to make a difference in health outcomes for the 1 in 3 Australians at increased risk of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD)?
The University of Newcastle is looking for general practice nurses to participate in a randomised controlled trial evaluating a pragmatic e-learning intervention to improve CKD screening practices. Depending which group you are randomised to, we expect that this will take between one and two hours to complete. A CPD certificate will be awarded upon completion for your professional portfolio.
All participants who complete the program and its surveys will go into a draw for one of three $100.00 Coles-Myers vouchers.
If you are interested in participating,

All of the surveys are anonymous, however you will be required to provide your name and email address so we can register you for the trial and send you your CPD certificate on completion. If you have any questions about this research you can contact the researcher at

This project is endorsed by Kidney Health Australia and considers evidenced based screening practices and practical real world solutions to initiating CKD screening in the general practice setting.
