The State-wide Sexual Assault Line is here to offer telephone support and counselling to anyone – women, men and young people – who has been sexually assaulted or abused and for anyone who is concerned or suspects someone they care about might have been assaulted or abused.
A state-wide telephone service for women and their children experiencing domestic and/or family violence. This service is staffed by a team of dedicated professional counsellors who provide crisis intervention, support, information, advocacy, telephone counselling, referrals and importantly, the statewide coordination of emergency refuge and shelte. . .
The Safe from the Start project was initiated by The Salvation Army, in partnership with two universities (UTAS and Swinburne,Vic) and women's domestic violence services.
