CPL's Varsity Lakes Services (formerly the Cerebral Palsy League)

CPL – Choice, Passion, Life is the leading provider of integrated support, therapy and advice for people living with a disability in Queensland and Northern New South Wales, and their families.

We work with our clients at every stage of their lives. We deliver the very best support, guidance, technology and understanding possible, so people can achieve the things that matter the most to them. We know that given the right opportunities, people can grow beyond expectations and create amazing lives.

Don’t live in Varsity Lakes and looking for more CPL services? Take part in our life skills and creative arts programs from our location in Southport. We can also visit you wherever you like in surrounding suburbs such as Robina, Palm Beach and Tallebudgera.

Therapy and Health Services 

Our friendly allied health team offers flexible services in your home, at school or work and in the community. 

Our allied health services for children include:

Occupational therapy – make daily tasks easier
Physiotherapy – improve your movement
Speech pathology – improve your speech and communication
Social work – social support and planning for you and your family
Early intervention – vital therapy for children aged 0 - 6

Supporting you in your Community

Do you want to enjoy a day out with friends, go to the shops or be more active? Our carers can support you to go where you need. 

We can support you in your community to:

Support to access education (e.g. TAFE or university)
Catching up with friends and family
Shopping and running errands
Gym and fitness
Sports like swimming, bowling, fishing and sailing
Plus much more!
Our other community support programs include:
MyTime parent support group
Support on holidays 

Home Support and Respite 

Have one of our reliable and friendly carers provide quality support to you in your own home, whenever you need it. From quick drop-ins to overnight stay, we can be there fast. 

Our home support services include: 

Assistance at meal times and giving medication
Assistance with personal care (such as showering and dressing)
Household management (such as cleaning, cooking and gardening) 
Assistance to get out and enjoy your local community
Support to visit friends and family  
Respite for parents and carers of a child with disabilities – so you can take a break!
After hours check-ins and emergency response support
