Child Youth & Family Community Health

Free health services to families with children from birth to completion of high school in a variety of settings e.g. client homes, centres, child care centres, primary and state high schools. Appointments necessary.

Services include:-

  • 0-4 years old health assessments (NHMRC);
  • Hearing assessments for four years plus;
  • Parenting advice - feeding , sleeping, behaviour;
  • Parenting programs, cultural support ATSI families;
  • Allied Health referral and short term intervention;
  • Referral to Child Development Team;
  • Other QH services (community and acute) and non-government agencies.
Service operates from Coomera Springs, Upper Coomera, Helensvale, Labrador, Mermaid Waters, Robina, Palm beach and main Centre Southport Community Child Health. The Service is funded by Queensland Health through Gold Coast Hospital and Health Services district. Addresses for Centres available when telephonoing for appointment.
