PCF Support Program - Gold Coast

The Parent Child and Family Support Program team offer a counselling service, providing support and advocacy for individuals and couples.

The PCF Support Program Counselling focuses on:

  • Mental health concerns
  • Associated drug and alcohol issues
  • Enhancing parenting capacity and skills
  • Relationship difficulties
  • Advocacy and support for families who are also engaged with the Department of Child Safety
  • Individual counselling for significant others/carers of someone affected by mental health and/or substance use concerns
  • Crisis support
  • Issues associated with past traumas and abuse

This program also offers:

  • Individual counselling for young people (between 16 and 24 years of age) affected by mental illness, drug use or both
  • Individual counselling for significant others/carers of someone affected by mental health and/or substance use concerns
  • Crisis support for young people (between 16 and 24 years of age) and significant others/carers of someone affected by mental health and/or substance use concerns.
