The 3Es to Freedom program on the Gold Coast is an activity of Anglicare North Coast. We work with women from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD), multicultural backgrounds and may have arrived as a refugee.
3Es is a program for CALD women; to help them understand and build the skills to gain education and employment in Australia, to develop their English skills for work, to improve their health & wellbeing and to develop their confidence and social networks. Sometimes we learn together in a classroom or workplace, sometimes we go out into the community together and other times we do activities and just have fun.
Now. 3E’s groups will commence on Monday 19th Feb 2018. You are welcome to contact us and start with the program at any time, just contact us to find out more (details below).
The program on the Gold Coast is based in Robina however we will be running groups on Mondays from Helensvale Library (Media Lab) and on Wednesdays from the Labrador Women’s Space, both groups will run from 9.30am to 2.30pm (with breaks).
Women from CALD backgrounds (particularly when newly arrived in Australia), can sometimes find it hard to gain employment or access education. The 3Es Program will help them build the skills they need to assist with these issues.
To find out more contact Jill or Kesti by phone or complete an expression of interest form and email it to us.
