Active & Healthy Mental Health Recovery Project

Fitness professionals - Want to learn how to assist people experiencing a mental health problem? The Active & Healthy Mental Health Recovery Project is upskilling community based exercise professionals in Mental Health First Aid Training for free.
 
What’s involved?

Attend a 12 hour course, which is held over two days.
 
What is Mental Health First Aid?

Mental health first aid is the help given to someone developing a mental health problem or in a mental health crisis. The first aid is given until appropriate professional treatment is received or until the crisis resolves.

This course will be delivered, so that it is as specific to you as a fitness professional and we aim to ensure it provides you with real life examples so that you feel confident to assist clients who present with mental health concerns.
