Migrant Centre Organisation - Migrants Matter III
Skilling Queenslanders for Work (SQW) focuses on developing an individual’s skills, supporting them to begin a cost-free (eligibility criteria applies) learning pathway to a certificate III qualification, and providing direct assistance to those Queenslanders that need extra support to enter and stay in the workforce.
The Migrant Centre Organisation’s Migrants Matter III Program will:
- support access to undertake a certificate III level qualification
- encourage participants to undertake training to enhance employment opportunities
- build skills to maximise local job opportunities
Certificate III courses for 2015-16 include aged care, disability, health services assistance, community services work, home and community care, business, business administration (medical), hospitality and food processing.
Training duration: 10-12 weeks including a work placement.
