QuIHNs TIDE Hepatitis C Education, Support & Treatment Project - Gold Coast

TIDE is the Queensland Injectors Health Network's (QuIHN) free Hepatitis C virus (HCV) Education, Support and Treatment project.

TIDE offers flexible and tailored support during all stages of HCV diagnosis, treatment and post-treatment in a non-judgmental and respectful environment.

The aim of the project is to educate people about HCV treatment options, and support people through the process of HCV diagnosis and treatment access.

This project will also support people while engaged in HCV treatment and in the initial stages of post-treatment while people adjust their lives and daily routines.

If a client does choose to commence treatment, we have a GP onsite.
Better Access Medical clinic is open Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday. The clinic has a fibro scan machine and onsite pathology with our registered nurse.
Dr Corinne Lingard scripts and manages HCV patients on treatment in collaboration with TIDE case managment team,.

If someone has HCV and would like some support, education or is interested in HCV treatment, feel to make a referral.

Clients can also phone the project team directly on 07 5520 7900 or, if your client is happy for you to pass on their contact details, the project team can call the client. An outreach service is also available if needed.
